Happy Weekend! Hope you and family have been well. Can't believe I've been missing from fairyland for so long, but have enjoyed the break! It's been a long hot dry Summer here, now the same for the Fall, everything is drying up, I have never seen our pond so low, sure glad I decided against getting more Koi, I worry about my big boy now, he's got some age on him and I hope the stress of the warm water doesn't kill him, but so far so good! Have you done much traveling this Summer? anyplace interesting? Have a good weekend Berna, be well...

It's getting pretty chilly here.  There will soon be frost so I'm harvesting my herbs and the rest of my bell peppers.  There are only a few smallish green ones and a couple of nice sized peppers turning red left to bring in.  This was my first year growing bell peppers.  They were so productive and delicious that I will plant bell peppers again next spring---I kept seeds to start them early inside!

Hi Berna,  We had a very pleasant day,  deep blue skies, and sunshine, still chilly though.
We had a rain shower in the afternoon.  When the girls  were all little and I was working in Asda/Walmart..  I bought them clothes for birthdays and Christmas, which was great when the sales were on and I got double discount at Christmas. The older they got,  I couldn't buy them clothes anymore.. lol.. so Cash in their accounts was the easy option.
Ainsley finally got the last 3 bushes cut back. last time on Wednesday for the Garden waste to be collected.  That will be nice having everyone drop in..  Oh she sure is having it remodelled..  she's having a huge kitchen from the garage, right through what was her dining room.  and also a 4th bedroom over the garage.  so Imogen will have a decent size bedroom..  she sleeps in the box room.. bless her..  We have sunshine right now,  and it's 1c.
