Hi,Lynn. My son is 54. But I have had no contact with him  for many years .I kept in contact with his  ex wife. Used to go and visit her. Then covid came. Then last year she died .Do miss her. She was  a daughter to me as well as her own Mum. xxx

Hi,Lynn. Glad you had help with your Licence. I still have to pay. Even with Pension Savings Credit. No idea why as you get nothing by having it !!
Will see what happens in December when I need to renew .!!
I just do not understand all these rules. I am sure it depends who you speak to !!

Hope you have managed to get that tooth sorted out. Unless they have changed. Hospitals are not helpful.!!
I think we have finished clearing and cleaning my old friends house. Her daughter went back to Essex lunch time. She hopes to hear the sale has gone through. Then she only has to come back for the electric and gas to be checked and turned off.

Hi,Lynn. It was a spur of the moment bus ride. !! I was born on the island. But, as I say, Escaped at 17. !! But ended  up back here !! Seen so much new development. On the bus I saw more new development than I realised. This island will sink soon on the weight of houses. But no improved roads  to cope with the extra cars .!!

Caught the bus to Leysdown in the end. Had a walk to the front, passed all the Arcades. Nearly all shut as the  children are back at school. Then went and had a coffee at the Bakers. Nice to sit out side. Caught the next bus home. Never realised just how many caravan  sites there were. The bus goes through the new Estate up by the hospital. Even spotted a Co op up there and a school!!

Thanks for the up date on Leysdown, Lynn. Might only be up the road but not been for years .I used to take my Mum, when I first had my car, up to the road to Shellness and she could sit in the car. Look out over the sea or read her book. I really must go up on the bus. Not this week end .Bank Holiday !!
Well done on the garden. Have to wait till next Monday, bin day, before I can do any more. !!

Not been to leysdown for years. Was thinking of going on the bus. Do you know if there is much there. Other than caravans and chalets ? xx
