Been to the old people’s matinee of Mary Poppins at the Bristol Hippodrome today. An absolutely brilliant production and a little different to the film I remember watching when I was a kid. In this one Bert walked up the stage wall on one side, across the roof upside down doing a tap dance halfway and then down the other side. Mary as her finale flew out of the stage across the audience in the stalls and disappeared into the Gods seats. Back to reality tomorrow and an extra layer of clothing.

Enjoy your girls night out tomorrow and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. I’m looking forward to hearing/seeing all about it. Enjoy.

About 3 inches of snow at work today which wasn’t really expected but at least we didn’t have to go out in it and knocked off an hour early.  How is it with you?

Wow snow already - shades of very cold Winter to come. We have also had a few nasty cold days with lots of rain and cold southerly winds = winter cardigan on!! Stay warm⭐️⭐️

We don’t see many Jays around here and certainly not in the garden. Lots of gold and greenfinches today I’m told as I was at work where it rained from lunchtime onwards. Got wet and still chucking it down outside now. More forecast and the South Cotswold’s is on the snow boarder line for tomorrow. I need to find something to do inside!

Had 30kg of sunflower seeds delivered. This with the little bit I had left should be enough to keep the birds fed through most of the winter.

What a bummer with your rodents. Can only suggest you keep feeding them until the nest is gone but here must be others locally for them to keep coming back.
