Hi Zelliha, thank you for your lovely words - I have to hold my hand up though - I was active in my 20s and 30s, less active at 40,50 and 60, but sadly, in my 70s, hardly active would be a good phrase - I would rather sit and read these days (as well as going on holiday whilst I can.)  The lovely nurse practitioner who looked after me yesterday called me today as she remembered I was going away this weekend and was concerned about me flying - she was much relieved once I said we are only driving to Gloucester.  I was impressed by her dedication though. Hi Zeliha, nothing really to worry about, my leg swelled up last week so popped to our local hospital, had some pokes, prods and bloods taken, returning today to confirm and further tests for DVT (confirmed), am now on a treatment pathway and leg is going down by the day.  Partly my own fault, I have arthritis in my pelvis and sometimes it flares up so itls painful to walk.  I have been sitting reading and playing games on the laptop instead of going for a stroll.  Have more bloods next week and monitoring henceforth.  Hoping for recovery before our trip to Losheim in May.  Thank you for your lovely message.  xx

Hi Zeliha, I am so pleased you checked out Morris dancing. You are right in thinking it has similarities with local dancing in your country.  It all mainly stems from Pagan times and as in many countries, our Counties have many different dances, so use sticks, some hankies, clog dancers have 'mollies' little sticks with bells either end and 'garlands' (hoops). I started dancing in the late 1970s in my late 20s and am quite proud that we were one of the first women's morris sides in the country - the side still exists, but no longer dance morris, but clog (changing traditions). I have always loved dancing (a guilty pleasure is watching the group BTS dance - shhh!), but didn't dance again for over 40 years, then in my 70s, I made the crazy decision to join a local side and really loved doing it for 2 years before my arthritic hip decided enough was enough.  I also prefer watching women's football, as you say, the crowd is much better, but I find that women's playing attitude is also good on the pitch and they are great role models for today's young girls.  My 15 year old has it in spades, her hair is long and scraped back into a ponytail and hairsprayed in place when she plays - trouble is, it makes it hard to identify her because they all look the same at a distance LOL.  Have a good mondayxx

I am so very sorry to hear that U got worse & was Hospitalized~ I Pray that U are feeling much better?  I know how feels to take care of an elderly parent~ You need to spend time for U as well~ I hope U get help with your Mom to give U a break~ Please take care & try to get some much needed rest~ Thinking of U & Saying Prayers~🙏🏽

Aww, bless you Zeliha.  Sorry to hear you have been in hospital, 'flu is something that is often ignored, but shouldn't be.  I have a chronic lung condition, so get a first call fro annual 'flu jabs that are covered by our NHS (at the moment).  Glad you are on the mend, but do take it easy as post viral stuff can be nasty too.  Take care and I;m glad you are backxx
