I don't know the full story, only what hubby told me so who knows.. I just know that the few times I saw him at Eaton fair, he looked well.. and hadn't lost his beard after the chemo. Anyway.. not my business to get into. 
I remember you saying that he has crohns which isn't great to have. Oh yuk to having a stoma but if that's what he needs then I guess that's what they'll recommend. They aren't very pleasant things that's for sure. He's certainly having a lot of issues going on. It's you I feel for Izy having that stress of it all :

One of hubby's mates had the same thing happen. He was told he has cancer and followed thru with the options.. chemo, radiation and even had part of his lung removed. Every time I saw this guy tho he looked healthy, like there was nothing wrong with him. I told him that I thought he was being lied to. Anyway, not long ago they told him he didn't have cancer.. after thousands of $$$ worth of treatment for no reason. It's all a money making rort.. mostly. After that story, I have even less faith in so called health professionals. The system is broken and ripping people off for huge bucks.. like some other things that we know of!
