It is good to look after stuff and be aware of dangers I do have contents insurance for everything but if it can be avoided I dont mind.
we do have all the fruit in the meter box and since simon came to live with us he is SOOOOOOOO particular about caring for electrical items so the first day he moved in he replaced ALL my cords n plugs n double adaptors for Thor green boards so theyre everywhere now LOL
Yet I always just plugged stuff into the power point with nothing attached LOL
been renting over 40 years and only had 1 incident in a house in pemberton where the lightening travelled down the TV antennae wire and fried the TV.

Thing is lightening can travel down any wire like today my sons support lady was telling me that they had bad lighening strike out on their farm and it went down the ph line into the house and  even though they dont have a landline ph it still went down the wire and blew the plastic cover off the wall that was covering the whole where the plug would normally be...it blew about 12 feet away!! LOL and exploded the junction box outside their shed. Very scary stuff!!

I'm glad he unplugs stuff to save it I odnt fancy getting up to find all my electrical stuffed blown up LOL My boy wouldnt cope!

another wild stormy night just horrid damn thunder big crash right over head shook the house LOL... and as soon as that happens Simon unplugs "everything" in case it blows up...and it poured and poured so much with rain

its too bludy smokey outside here to see th e sky with a massive burn off only  a few km's away. hate it it blocks the breeze and sends  ash over everything.

its darn hot today!! too hot for this old chook LOL aint looking fwd to summer at all :(

It is windy outside I have to nail the washing to the line so it doesnt take off LOL

It did suddenly warm up the temp wasnt high but felt very warm outside. I pulled out a tonne of weeds out of the garden to put in tubs so that trimmed me up LOL  As soon as my back started screaming I had to stop otherwise I cant walk.
meant to be alot warmer tomorrow and a stinker on monday! ewwwww!! lol
