I know how very hard it is. I lost my mom in 2007 and it’s still hard some days.
And you may find someone in your community that looks just like her from the side at quick glance. There was a lady who shopped at my grocery store that from the side looked just like mom. And when I first saw her I burst in to tears and she ran to me to ask what she had done wrong. I explained why I was crying and she just hugged me. For several years we’d run in to each other and she say “ im not your mom but she’s thinking of you since you’re seeing me”. It was so sweet.

Pauline, O my God, That's horrible,, to find your Mom that way, ! My Lord that's horrible. My Mom had dementia too, and if she didn't have "calm down" meds her illness made her violent. There are million more bad facts to the story, that made it heart wrenching. I am so sorry for your loss, and your experience in finding her, your Mom that way. Huge hug xoxo
