Spiked hot chocolate sounds yummy. I hope you are enjoying the weather and staying warm. 🥰🧡

I was very surprised when you told me you have two fairies. The young ladies must indeed  be very special. I to am  interested in WW1. You may have seen my poem in my garden. Stephen King, and Clive Barker are my go to horror books. Although the only real interpretation of Stephen King in a movie is the "Green Mile" The other's leave a lot to be desired. OK, now it's your turn to ask questions of me. So,  farewell for now x

I have all of the Harry Potter movies. I watch a lot of true crime programmes (so, I can kill you with a paper clip!). I like sci-fi movies. Documentaries on wildlife and at present I'm watching The Handmaids Tale. I watched Peaky Blinders (If you've not seen it I recommend it).I read a lot of Holocaust books my daughter & I visited Auschwitz a few years ago. It was a sort of pilgrimage. I like Mimosas, so drink it in the holidays. I collect fairy figurines. Although I have no room for anymore. As I have nearly a hundred in my living room. I had them appraised and I have well over a thousand pounds worth, as some are limited addition. I hate Autumn and winter. But  Love the spring and summer months. Not that we get a lot of summer here. Right, I'll let you get on with your day. Ciao for now.

Awww, there's me thinking you were going to whisk me off to Gretna Green (Scotland) and pledge your troth  over the anvil!!! I'm devastated! I shall never get over the humiliation, and rejection!! (you will find I have a wicked sense of humour!!!). Seriously, it's nice to have a male friend who doesn't want "hit on me" I like a chilled Chardonnay, or a Riesling, and I have been known to drink Ros'e . Your hypertension sounds a real pain in the tukas. (So, you speak Swahili) I'm impressed. I am a full bodied lioness, although now I tend to purr instead of roar! I have champagne taste, but beer money (as we say in England). So, please tell me about yourself. Your interest in books, Movies etc. I love Solzhenitsyn. Have you ever read Cancer ward? I can highly recommend it. I also like Leon Uris, Steven King, and a plethora of other books. Some biographical, and of course history. Although I prefer the Stuarts, Plantagenets Tudor., and Egyptology. I am glad you agree about honesty. I was once told you have to have a good memory to lie. I have the memory y of a goldfish, so I'm always honest :-} Take care and talk soon x

A white wine sounds wonderful, or a black velvet. I won't drink vodka, as eons ago now, I got plastered (REALLY INIBRIATED) on Vodka and Lime so I won't go near Vodka. Yes, the food is as you put it is "Lush" very moreish.,
Right, some home truths from me! NO man in his right (or left) mind would become attached to me in anyway. You said you'd have given "your eye teeth" to have had someone like me!! WRONG!!! Oh so WRONG" For a start, I now have false teeth (A bugger but there you are). I am spastic, YES, spastic (why coat the truth with platitudes & inane PC terms?) I have been told I have " a great personality" well, they can stick that where the sun don't shine!!! I can walk, but as I age is getting worse and our health system is kaput, so there's no help there.
Please do NOT patronise me with the usual platitudes, that's the last thing I want or need! BUT, the one thing I believe in wholeheartedly is honesty. And saying one thing (even if it's to cover hurt feelings), and think another, then it's just deception.
Well, William, I've certainly dropped a bomb shell, so you will need some time to assimilate what I have said. I hope to hear from you again. but I shan't

You asked about November 5th? We celebrate Guy Fawkes night, by making an effigy of him and burning him on a bonfire. He tried to blow up the houses of parliament (such a shame he failed!). In reality the poor guy (scuse the pun) was actually hung, drawn and quartered. But here it's a big celebration with fireworks, jacket potatoes (some placed into the edge of the fire wrapped in foil). Other's get the barbeque out and we eat hotdogs and beefburger baps. The men drink beer and the women drink wine (or something a tad stronger).
You're right in some respect about a gated community. But means it's safe to have people you know come The apartments are separate, so apart from the hall ways inside we can do what we wish (again within reason). My apartment is exactly as I want with respect to the decor and furnishings. We have a laundry, which I hate! (I miss my washing machine). The gardens are attended by the council, so no gardening,
Have a great Friday, Take care x

My ex married me because he couldn't commit incest. The umbilical cord had never been cut.(seriously). His mother even came food shopping with us, and would say "we DON'T have that if I put something in the cart. She lived with us for 12 years after my father in law passed. He by the way was amazing! I put up with physical and emotional battery, because I loved him. After nearly 30 years he left me for a friend, In retrospect it was the greatest gift she could give me. What's wrong with a gated community? There is security in a keypad entry. No Halloween party. The parties are arranged for November 5th  and the Christmas and New Year celebrations. I like Freddie Kruger, it's supposed to be SO scary, but it's so absurd it's laughable.I keep myself to myself most of the time. Well "once more unto the breach, once more...." I'm off to catch up on some sprinkling. Take care, and talk soon. xx

I'd never hear of the band "Headstone" before, but, yes a wonderful testimony to the 29 dead. Are you ready for all hallows Eve?" Luckily, as it's a gated community we don't get trick or treaters. Although, I'll probably watch a horror movie. You'll laugh when I tell you I lived in a small apartment at 28. My fiancé, my ex husband only came over 4 times a week. Anyway, I decided to watch a "horror" movie with Boris Karloff as the main protagonist..... I sat up all night, scared to go to sleep! Now, I'll watch horror as long as they're  not zombie or slasher movies. I just think they're a waste of time. Anyway,  I'm sure you have better things to do then read my scribblings. So, I'll say bye bye for now. Take care x

Hi William, Try listening to a band called "Disturbed" sing !The sound of silence" it's absolutely awesome!!!! The best rendition of the song I've ever heard. I hope you've had a marvellous Monday. It's past 11.15pm here, so it's a quick note, as I'll try and catch up on some sprinkles before bed. I am an owl though, not a lark LOL so, sweet dreams when it's time for your bed. Night night x
