Happy you had such an uplifting day by the Sea. Sounds too scary for me though, we live in a country where Nature is friendly :)) well not the winter of course, but the dangerous animals keep away from us, both on land and in the water. Australia is so different from everything, we know here. If I was in a position where I could travel, I´d love to go to Japan. Second best for me is Canada. Different reasons, but I was dreaming of living in Canada, out in the wilderness, when I was young. Japan I feel drawn to for so many reasons, culture in all forms and I love their food! Also feel attracted to their cities ;-) but that would be far too much for me at this age. Fastgoing trains and crowds and earthquakes.
My daughter has been visiting for a few days last week, so nice and we see each other so seldom.
