Happy you had such an uplifting day by the Sea. Sounds too scary for me though, we live in a country where Nature is friendly :)) well not the winter of course, but the dangerous animals keep away from us, both on land and in the water. Australia is so different from everything, we know here. If I was in a position where I could travel, I´d love to go to Japan. Second best for me is Canada.  Different reasons, but I was dreaming of living in Canada, out in the wilderness, when I was young. Japan I feel drawn to for so many reasons, culture in all forms and I love their food! Also feel attracted to their cities ;-) but that would be far too much for me at this age. Fastgoing trains and crowds and earthquakes.
My daughter has been visiting for a few days last week, so nice and we see each other so seldom.

I never see my grandchildren, they all live in different places ( & countries ) now. My very talented grandson Axel works on Google. Travelling to USA very often, living in London. My granddaughter Julia, just made her final exam at the University, she has been studying both in UK, Netherlands, Amsterdam and France, Paris. She moved back to Manchester and got her first real job, starting next week. 300 applications and she didn´t even have to see them in person, they made an interview online and chose her immidiately. Her twinbrother Arvid  lives in Stockholm and will have his exam this summer.

My daughter has put soo much time and efforts into their education and helped them to chose well and formulate their applications and such. During the time they lived at home,  she started to learn to play the piano, and is quite succesful, now being a pianoteacher. When she lived in London the last 3 years, she could educate herself further, which was a real delight for her. So I´m happy for them successful people, living in quite another sphere :)) lol

1.076400 ft² trees down here, lying on the ground like you spilled out a box of matches , after the storm , and now loads of snow on top of it. We have our fair share too here just in a different way, people freeze to death, homeless people and people living in poor conditions wild animals, the reindeers can´t find food because of the snow on the ground, can´t reach it .. people with farms that are out of electricity, can´t  give their animals water, since their pipes freeze .. and they can´t melt snow either .. Terrible with the fires, I saw on TV last night. Lucky we are both safe Lynda :) 🌺
