I finished! I finished! Book 4 AND part I of book 5 are both done. I'm most pleased about that. I'm not pleased that Luna is showing the same wing flaring symptom that Jewel did before she died. I'm calling the vet tomorrow for a quick consultation.

I've started writing chapter 3 of book 5 in my series. I'm making great progress. I think I'll need a total of four chapters to finish part I of book 5. I have three parts planned for book 5. Busy busy. How are you? I hope work is behaving. *hug*

Hey! I finished writing my novel. I just have a final editing pass to make and I'll truly be done with it. Yay! The book ends with a cruel cliffhanger though so I'm starting the next book to resolve the cliffhanger. I'll finish the editing pass of my fourth book and the first part of the fifth book before I let anyone read the fourth book. I want to have the cliffhanger resolution ready in case any beta readers are too upset. :)

The three new budgies (Piper, Sky, and Neo) are getting along fairly well with the others. Better than when we've got a single new bird. The "others" are usually afraid of a single new bird. But they're more curious now. They interacted almost right away. Nice to see. The only problem is that the three new kids don't want to go to bed. They want to stay up and party all night. Kids! :)
