Hi been thinking about you, living in Issaquah. The Bomb Cyclone made a mess of it over there. I was very lucky my lights went out for 2-4 mins. I live in the Youngs Town part of West Seattle. The Steal Mill is less then a mile from me, and were all on the same electrical grid. And I've lived here 25 yrs and this was the 1st time the lights went out even for a couple mins. So you and your family are good, and no damage for you. Stay safe !!  ;=}

Holy shit 98 today ! Two years ago I bought a 48 inch tower cooler. You put water in it, they give you 2 little cooling blocks. But I make big ice cubes, in one cup plastic containers. Fill them up and stick it in the freezer. I love it cools my front room down 10-12 degrees. It dose not sound like much, but when it's 84 in the room it's a lot. And it has a normal plug, sense my 1936 Craftsman can't handle anything else. I call it my 2023 Swamp Cooled. Cool Hugs  ;=} 

It's so hot in my house no AC, it's a 1936 Craftsman. Thank goodness for big windows and box fans. ;=}

Wonderful having so many, are they indoors?  I always had two budgies at a time, and was thinking about breeding, but because they live indoors and are free to fly around the house, I thought, the mess might be too much for me to clean up....My female died, and I have not replaced her, it gets too hard to cope with them dying....watching them and being unable to help them.  But I do miss their cheeky chattering, they used to love heavy metal music, and me dancing around like a lunatic, and fly around me as if they were joining in. 
What lovely names you have chosen for them....and such a pleasure to interact with them.    Since Sparky's friend died, he has been quiet, but does have a mad half hour flying around and he has taken to lying down, outside of his cage in the sunshine coming through the window.  That reminds me I must get him some more spinach to eat.....LOL. x

Gosh, Terry, I am very surprised to find you love budgerigars...I do and have for over lots of years, I thought that only elderly folk, would buy and care for them....I am now elderly, but l have one feathered friend left.  he is precious....Nice to meet you.x
