Hi Lorna, Hope all is fine with you, we had a huge storm last night which has slightly cooled things down today, still got the fan going but it was so overwhelmingly hot yesterday, it was unbearable. We had a trip to Southwold, my grandson Terry-Kai came with us, sat in the shade at Mrs T's and had some yummy fish and chips and an ice cold coke, had a nice drive through the country back roads home. T.K had work at Morrison's until 10.00pm. Had a teatime drive to our friend Martin's, he lives in Belton, about a 25 minute drive from ours, his mobile home was 46dg, poor chap was in his underpants when we arrived as it was so hot!! Had tea and cakes and stayed until 9.00ish, came home via our hill, saw a rabbit, deer, 6 falcons and 2 huge hawks, the fields look lovely, all golden with corn and barley growing, Got home just after 9.30, T.K came round to sleep ( he has stayed over mine on a Friday since he was small ) we stayed up till the early hours watching episodes of Dance Moms. He is still in bed, likes his Saturday lie ins here. Going to my eldest daughter Aneliese's later today to meet her new Abyssinian kitten Gus, my little Poppy-Vespurr was sick yesterday, think she got over heated on the windowsill, she seems okay today, hope all is good in your little part of the world x x
