a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Kimalisa! brave Bessie! sending her many many ear rubs! we had rain this morning, but no storming. the boys are curled up for the night so send sleepy snuggles to you, and to Bessie.  I did get my sheets washed, and the bed made up again. today I washed rugs, *and* the boys' kitty bed; tomorrow will be towels. my son will be here on Wednesday for a few days! I finally admitted to them that I think my flying to Dallas days are over. I finished the Robb books I have here, and just started a new mystery author, Sherry Thomas (or is is Thompson?). her main character is Charlotte Holmes, so a female Sherlock in Victorian England.  as for Salem, yes, Doug was happy with the seafood. we stayed in an older motel that wasn't right in the middle of the tourist area, and a few blocks from that we found a restaurant where the locals ate. we checked into the motel, and then the few days we were there we walked everywhere. the car did not move until we left for home.  take care, and hugs! xoxo
