(we did get above freezing today, though; 35! yay!) both girls are looking forward to Christmas. they're not going anywhere, but Grandma from Michigan will be here visiting. my shopping is not done. I'm going to the local zoo's gift shop tomorrow, and then on Friday I'm going to my favorite crystal/candle/incense/etc shop to finish up. (also meeting a friend there, and we're having lunch at the Mexican restaurant next door.) right now I'm reading another Nora Roberts book, but then it will be time to start my annual reading of Susan Cooper's The Dark Is Rising series. I think we got to around -15 or so over night which isn’t bad in itself but we were at  3 and within about 1/2 an hour, it dropped to that. That’s harsh! I haven’t brushed my hair either, I put it in a braid then pinned it up with a barrette. I’ll brush it later. I vacuumed and washed the floors, stripped and remade the bed, and tidied the kitchen. I’m going to go outside and find my metal bucket and burn my cardboard, the ashes are good to add to the dust baths for the chickens.
I sure hope you get some warmer weather! Put those sandals back on for me! Lol!

Bessie looks totally adorable. I wish you lived nearer, so you could bring Bessie over, an I could "dog" sit.  I'd love that. I'm happy you're all set for the holidays.
