a quiet evening splash and wishing you a cozy good night, Kimalisa! ah, yes! leaving the fan on. I always have a ceiling fan on especially when sleeping. Dresden has had his dinner, and so sends satisfied snuggles to you, and to Bessie. I'm sending Bessie many many ear rubs!  I *did* get to the post office on time, and stood in line for 25 minutes. the box is now on its way to Texas, and should arrive on Friday. (big sigh of relief!) Pat & Emma simply send me e-gift certificates. can't say I'm a fan, but I'm getting use to it. I put up the little tree today, and got the lights on it. then I ran out of steam. the plan was Ellie and I would start decorating, but she seemed a bit tired this afternoon, too.  I will most likely go over to Angel's on Christmas Day, and will see Sam (my stepdaughter) and Elia after Christmas. there is a community Solstice celebration on the 20th I will attend. it's in Racine (2 hours away), and this lovely younger couple who live on the west side of town have offered to give me a ride there. it's a full day, and ends with a turkey dinner. lots of good food, and good conversations.  hooray for your bit of sunshine today! we have more snow falling tonight.
