a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Kimalisa! yes, Vuong's book is a novel; it starts with an almost attempted suicide.  would like to explore their poetry, but maybe a little later. I finished Kingfisher's book so will hopefully visit the library tomorrow. the boys are snoozing (surprise!), and send sleepy snuggles to you, and to Bessie. I'm sending Bessie many, many ear rubs. hooray for being a champ during the storm! it's 82 here, which I suppose isn't incredibly hot for you, but I have the A/C running.  how are you doing, migraine-wise? take care, and hugs! xoxo

Good evening Kimalisa I hope you have had a good day with no storms to upset Bessie girl, so pleased the pills helped her yesterday and she slept through everything.  It has been 30C here, really hot and it has been a while since we had any rain.  It is going to start cooling down over the next few days, 25C tomorrow and down to 19C by Wednesday.  Some of our trees have already started changing colour because of the lack of rain this Summer.  I wonder why you are falling asleep on the sofa, too many late nights up writing perhaps!
