a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Kimalisa! yum! chocolate chip cookies! I don't have many sweets in the house; lemon drops (Cece & Ellie love them), starlight mints, and dove chocolates (those are for Ellie). when I go to the bakery for my French bread I usually buy at least one sweet treat. yes, the kitty boys, and Bessie do sleep a lot. such a life! they send snuggles to both you, and Bessie, and I'm sending Bessie lots and lots of ear rubs! oh! before I forget: a lion spotted; thanks! I love reading poetry. there's at least a dozen poetry books on my nightstand.  I'm tired tonight. I went to the candle/incense store, ate lunch at a Mexican restaurant, and then got groceries. instead of rolling in grass the boys like to eat it, and so I picked some up at the store. (it may be wheat grass; it's in a little pot.) take care, keep cool, and hugs! xoxo

Good evening Kimalisa I hope you are having a good day.  It has been a cool and damp day here, showers on and off all day until dinnertime when the sun  came out for a while.  This wasn't what was forecast for the day and tomorrow should be 27C, I may actually be able to sit out in the garden or even do some gardening.  Pippin and I did have a dry walk though after lunch.   Gosh you do have it really hot, makes it hard to get things done when it is that hot.  I hope you get on well with Bessie at the Vet tomorrow, does she like going?  Still behind with my returns, doing a few more but it is nearly time for bed.  Enjoy the rest of your day my dear, big hugs to you and Bessie girl from me and Pippin. xxx 🌟🌛😴
