a misty good morning, Kimalisa, and a splash! a snowy owl spotted; thanks! happy day-after-Christmas! Sam, my stepdaughter, and Elia were suppose to visit me today, but Sam texted me that she's not feeling well. so, a quiet day of reading for me.  yesterday was lovely, but over at my daughter's got off to a rough start. Ellie had a meltdown over something broken. by the time I got there after 4:00 both Ellie and Cece were sitting at the table creating little fairy gardens in short boxes filled with sand. Grandma Shirley arrived safely from Michigan, and we had a delicious ham dinner. Dresden and I got up early to prepare for Sam's and Elia's visit so I'm thinking a nap is in my near future.
