Hi!  Thanks for a peacock.   In about an hour I'm heading out for a wildflower walk - 2 mile walk. we have a new regional park about 8 miles away- this week is the grand opening, so they are having some free events, yesterday it was nordic pole walking, today the wildflower walk and tomorrow geo-caching.  The Minneapolis area has a lot of green space and parks and my county, which is SW of the metro has so many parks and lakes.  It should be fun.  I am waiting to hear if the Fall Hiking Club will take me, I signed up late and it was full (20 people) but I am on the wait list- the first and only person on the wait list, so I am hoping they decide 21 isn't that much more than 20.  Especially since people probably signed up and won't ever come; I did it last fall and maybe 2/3 of the people that signed up actually came.  wish me luck.   Take care and love to Bessie!!! (and you of course, but no head pats or ear rubs or tummy scritches for you, LOL)
