Hi Linda, that’s the innocence of kids. They don’t think what they say could cause offence. Fortunately, Stu’s mum saw the funny side as Abbie spent more time with me than her 😂. What strange weather. I did go out. Wasn’t out for long and it was trying to rain then. I headed to the bus stop and saw an amazing funeral go by. People were actually videoing it on their phones. The hearse went by first but just filled with floral tributes. Then a motor bike with the coffin in a sidecar went past, followed by 5 mourning cars, followed by 50 bikers! I was able to count them as they’d been stopped by traffic lights. It was an amazing sight, wish I’d videoed it but I think it’s disrespectful to the family. Anyway, I got home just in time as the heavens opened and now the sky is blue and the sun’s out! I think I’ll leave the card writing until tomorrow. I’m feeling rather tired, as I didn’t sleep well last night. Going to ‘stock check’ now before doing the Tesco online order. I haven’t been to a Christmas lights switch on for years. The thought of going out in the cold and dark is off putting. It will be lovely for Bella, although not knowing what’s going on, I’m sure she’ll love all the lights. Catch you later Linda xx
