I love the slang but don't think I will ever really get the whole idea of it as I don't use much of our own slang from here and I sometimes just stop and stare at people who are using it towards me then politely ask them to use proper english as I am dense. Good morning Linda. Another miserable start to the day, thick cloud and very humid. It’s actually raining now, well it’s more like a mist. Glad I did my washing yesterday, having a cappuccino then start ironing. My 2 granddaughters are massive Beatles fans, having grown up listening to them as most of the family are Beatles fans. Mark in particular. He has all my Beatles LP’s as they’re originals. His favourite being John Lennon, strange as he wasn’t even born when JL died! Hi and Nic don’t want kids, ever! They like their holidays too much and being able to go wherever they like without having to make arrangements for kids. Can’t blame them really. They went to see Oasis at Heaton Park a couple of weeks back, saw Ocean Colour Scene in Llandudno a few weeks before that. Then off to the Elvis experience in London in August and why not?
Anyway must get on, have a lovely day, hope you get your washing dry. Catch you later xx
