Hi Linda. It’s a mixed bag here as well, rain, sunshine and thunder! It’s absolutely crazy weather. Still a bit cool in the wind that has rarely died down for months! The nurse came this morning to do Steve’s blood. She phoned yesterday to say she’d be here between 8-8.30. She arrived at 8.15! Steve wasn’t happy it was such an early hour as it takes him a while to feel human 😂 Anyway it’s all over now and one of his railway modeller magazines has arrived so he’s stuck into that. Keep him happy for a while! I’ve just been pottering about. The window cleaner came on Monday, which is usually my cue to do the insides…I keep looking at them and as I can still see out of the, I haven’t done them yet! I’m getting lazy when it comes to cleaning.
It always makes me hungry when you mention fish and chips….when Steve was in hospital and on the mend, Stephen asked if I fancied some after we got back from the hospital. I hadn’t really eaten much for a few days and I said yes. They were delicious…the fish was just how I like it, not much batter and the chips were plentiful…far too much to eat. I found out later that they were the big portions….for £17 for 2 portions, I should hope so 😂 Shows how long it’s been since we’ve had a chippy tea! Talking of eating, I’m feeling a peckish now, been up since 6am, I’m ready for lunch. Enjoy the rest of your day…and the fish and chips tomorrow. Catch up later xx
