Good Evening Carmen and how were those freshly laundered and folded sheets last night? I felt much better this morning, thank you. I barely got four hours sleep, I knew Luke needed to be up early for work and I could not  get to sleep. I finally drifted off and about two hours later I heard the shower running. I must have nodded off again because I woke at 5am and the house was in darkness and there was silence. I shot out of bed but he'd already gone... he'd left too early and arrived 40 minutes before his shift started - I suggested a power nap 😂😂 How is mom feeling today? A bit better I hope? It's 2.30am and I must go to sleep, I'm running on fumes as it is! I hope your day was as good as your fresh coffee. Take care abd sweet dreans when you get there xx

Hi Carmen! Poor mom, she doesn't need that just before Christmas, I hope she's able to get on top of it before it really takes hold. I did have a chuckle at the thought of you handing over her gifts and the top one - in a pretty box with a little gold bow - is cold remedy 😉😂). In all seriousness, I hope she feels better soon. Why can't glasses ever stay where we put them? It drives me to distraction. I put mine on the arm of my chair and, despite my not moving, two minutes later and they're about to slip into obscurity down between the cushions! (I tried one of those chains for glasses - made me feel like I was a toddler being put on reins - and still kept losing them!) I hope the glasses are a quick, easy and not too expensive mend. Fingers crossed.

And congratulations on folding all that laundry (even if you did have a side kick for help) 😂😂. Thank you for  spotting our Elf Mallard 💚
