Good evening Jeannie and a fine day here, although we it had a couple of tries at raining, but nothing came of it. I have finished feeding the cakes, although not as much as I would normally, with being so late making them. I do marzipan them, which I did a few days ago. I like marzipan as well, as does our Mags, who gets their block as she doesn't like fruit cake, Tony has that as he doesn't like marzipan or icing. I still have rum butter to make and presents to wrap up. I got my towels washed and did put them outside for a while, and are now near the radiator on the clothes airer. I went to Morrison's and got a few bits and some carrots, sprouts and parsnip for 5p each, using my store card. Definitely a bargain. Beth and Faye came round for lunch, and Beth is now on holiday from work until the New Year and Faye now on holiday from school. After lunch when Beth and Faye had gone home, I walked to Tesco's to get myself a new coffee machine to replace the one I broke. My very best wishes and lots of love and warming hugs. xx
