Bird feeders are great, it fun watching the little birds come to eat. I have one out but no birds come, lol! I filled it and then the wind came and dumped it all out on the ground, I wasn’t too impressed about feeding the mice or possibly attracting a skunk but what’s done is done. So far the chickens like their cabbage that I’ve put in suet feeders and hung around for them to peck at, maybe the ones pecking at bums will stop for a bit. I think I’ll be having chicken dinner soon if one of them don’t stop it.

Oh geez! Stay safe on that ice. We’ve used ashes before too but since we park right out front and don’t have a porch or decent entry way it gets tracked in on our boots and Zeus’s paws and that creates quite a mess. This morning it didn’t seem as bad going out yo the chickens, I think the sand has helped but it’s also evaporating. I wish I had your energy, I’m so sluggish lately. Happy to hear your appointment went so well, that’s a great thing to hear from your dr! I hope your days at work are easy and go by fast. John has a cold so I’m not sure what we’ll be doing today, maybe a few things in my workshop but not much else outside. Tomorrow we go to look at a modular, I’m not sure if we’ll be moving forward with it or not but I have to get John into gear on this stuff or I’ll be living in this old, falling apart trailer for ever.
