Good morning Jan. The three remaining chickpeas are thriving and now getting their first adult feathers. Mother is doing an excellent job and the weather is being very kind, staying mild and not too wet. They were a very late hatching. I don't know why the silly bird didn't sit on the eggs she laid in spring... The eggs are good to eat, mind you, so not wasted!. The chicks stay with mother for up to 6 months then she'll drive them away...xx

Good morning Jan.  it’ll be tea and a biscuit this morning , trying to cut back on the cakes but I did go out for some yesterday.
