Hi June, I went for a walk to the shops and got caught in a downpour. Home now though. I'm doing a sponsored walk a mile a day for Bowel Cancer research this month. I raised £75 for the cause. Just have to do the walking now lol.... My back is still hurting but getting better slowly. Have a lovely afternoon xxx

Hi June hope you having a good time still in Bridlington we had a couple of showers here today it’s cooler than it was but still pleasant out in the sun shine the gardens look fresher after the showers they need it been to see mum today for a couple of hours giving it a miss tomorrow it’s shopping day and they is plenty to keep mum occupied at the home they normally have a coffee morning on a Tuesday morning coffee and cakes they are having a trip on a barge on Wednesday but mum does not want to go it’s a long day for them too much for mum she tires quickly will try and take her out for lunch if she is up to it  we are counting the days we go away to Northumberland in a couple of weeks so looking forward to it love Bamburgh sea houses holy island and beadnell bay then we will have a couple days in Whitley bay and South Shields love all that area st Mary’s lighthouse and marsden grotto our favourite area so much to see and do hope you manage to have a good time with your friend and she stays well enough to enjoy your company it’s hard watching someone so close go through what is happening to her stay strong and enjoy the quality time you get with her xx

Yes lovely swim in a cool pool, busy though. No news on the boat. Mechanic only comes once a week. He can't understand what is wrong with it. grrrr
Hope you are having fun with your friends & a safe drive tomorrow. I think there will be floods with all the rain as everything is so dry. Cant win!
