Sad news here as Mavis, one of Aaron's dogs had a Seizure during the night as she hasnt been well, it's a while since she got bad and Been on medication, she is a Rottweiler and they dont live a long life, she is almost 9 and seems to be coming to the end of the road, everyone is devastated as they have to make that terrible decision as to when, we are just awaiting their decision,  went over to see her and say goodbye to her, So so sad xxx

Still very hot and dry here, heading for 38C today before a rain band comes in from the west.  Predicted up to 200mm by Tuesday, that is a lot of rain and there will be flooding in the lower lying areas and major rivers. x

We always used to get blocked in during the winter, we were 1100ft and got snow when further down the dale didn't.  One of the reasons we came to Oz, I hated the cold and long dark wiwnters.  They get very little snow compared to back then.

Saw up the north in the hills they have some snow and black ice, roads treacherous.  Don't miss the cold weather one little bit but prefer our winters.
