Hi June, the ceremony must be beautiful to watch and emotional when having family who served.  My dad, uncle and cousins served in the second world war and my dad took part in the invasion at Normandy.  I have an uncle who served in the first world war.  I'm Italian on both sides, I did the ancestry DNA and found I have Greek, Albania, Cyprus blood too.  So interesting what we find out.  We celebrate those who were killed in action in May, our Memorial Day..the day of remembrance and Thursday, 11/1 is our Veterans Day, we celebrate and thank all vets who served.  I guess we do things a little different here.  Enjoy the rest of your day, just returned from Mass.  xx
