I think Sis will definitely be on the mend by keeping her quiet. I worked with a gal, tears ago, who's  lab was hit by a car and had a fractured pelvis. They couldn't afford surgery and instead took the dog home and  kept her in the babies play pen. Not sure what they did for potty time, but that strict rest healed the pelvis and the dog fully recovered. I finished the tall birds quest and it was fun and took about a week. Collected my 3,000 points, then went back and un-paysed my rainforest quest and finally spotted the kinkajou & Gibbon. Collected 1,000 points! Now, I think I'm going to set up for the caterpillars. I need to reacquaint myself with attracting all the different colors. You will be busy with your canning & I'll be making tapioca with raisins for Mike's birthday tomorrow.  He's asked for that rather than a cake. I'd like to think of something that I can stuck a candle in and sing happy birthday! Maybe some apple , crumble muffins? Chicken curry with rice and I'm making mango chutney to go with. That tapioca requires a lot of stirring...so that's a real labor of love! For my solitary supper tonight, good old, bacon & eggs with fried potatoe
