So happy that you made it through all that wild weather without incident. I guess we will have some wind and rain overnight and then just cold and dry for several days. Hard to believe that Friday is May 1st. There are some insurance horror stories coming out on our local news, one tonight was a couple (elderly) that had flooding and a wall in their basement collapsed and created a sinkhole outside. Their claim was denied, because the damage was caused by "shifting ground" and not covered by their policy. Damage is estimated at over 100 grand. You are right...what a racket. Having been a nurse and helping people for my living, I can't even imagine what it must be like to have a job cheating decent people. Get some sleep and don't be on hyperalert mode.
