I saved a little deer's life on the way home tonight. I tried to get the car coming the other way to stop, but they didn't and they hit it. Thank goodness the car behind me stopped & the next one from the other way stopped, too. She just laid there & I didn't know what to do. I got in my car to call 911 & she lifted her head & looked at me. I said, I'm sorry, baby, I don't know what to do. Then, she got up & ran up the hill, holding her back leg up coz I'm sure it was broken. I thanked the Lord for saving her/him. My foot was shaking on the gas the rest of the way home.
