Hi Evelyn, its pretty mild here too , of course wet as well. l have the CH on all the time, but low during the late evening and night and if needed l higher it up mid afternoon. Hubby is the gift fairy here lol. he loves Christmas , decorates the lounge and hall. Writes most of the cards, picks most of them too. He even wraps most of them, l dont do wrapping l use festive bags lol. so much easier isnt it. I do pick out what to get for everyone, as l feel money or vouchers is not ideal. I loved open fires, so much more cosy than CH. , more work of course and here in this town nowhere to dispose of the ashes. Do have a wonderful Christmas Hun. Love and Hugs xxx
