Oh, Janet, I feel so sorry that happened to you.  I fear going to the dentist.  When I was just getting my permanent front tooth, I slipped and fell on the ice coming home from mass.  It got infected 2x and needed a root canal.  Then a dentist got the bright idea to ream out the blackened tooth and glue a false tooth there.  It was ok for a while but the glue kept failing and believe it or not I got under the kitchen sink and used some glue that my Grandpa had given Mom.  I'm surprised I didn't poison myself.  Here I am a teenager with a boyfriend with a tooth that wouldn't stay in.  So...that same dentist that put it in there, pounded it out of my mouth causing bone damage.  Well...three bridges later...with the last bridge being made probably 27 years ago, the one side has the gum starting to recede.  I'm not a happy camper but keep saying to myself, just don't smile very big.  LOLOL  Ever since Covid I haven't gone to the dentist but do brush a lot and floss & use interdental cleaners every night.  I would like to go, but my dentist out here is in Vegas....and keep putting it off.  Sandy, Don's sister, had an  implant & it went bad & had to redo it.  she has a bridge on one side but she can remove it.  My bridge is permanent in the front and they had to use a perfectly good tooth for strength.  Let me know how it goes.  xxx
