Morning Dianne, Sandra was yesterday searching for the cats. Don't know why. Anyway in a back of one of her many wardrobes she discovered an old post card album that belonged to my sister before she emigrated to Canada some sixty odd years ago. So I've been looking through it. My sister was a collector. There was pictures of a young princess Elizabeth, old films such as Maytime in Mayfair. But fascinating of all were the postcards sent to family & friends. Don't know if it was the same there but if anyone goes on holiday the first thing they did was to go to local shops to buy pictures of the resort. Then you would write a message & send them to family & friends. Was that the same in Australia? Pleased to say that no longer is the case. But fascinating going through all these old cards reading the message on each. Taking ages but fun. Will tell you how Tracey handled her first day back to work tomorrow. Only I'm going on a bit again..lol..

Been shopping (food) this morning.
tonight my eldest son and partner are taking Dave , Lee and myself out for a meal on him. lovely thought which we will greatly enjoy xx

Hi Dianne it was a lovely day yesterday. Met my sons girlfriends mother and sister last Christmas we all went for a meal together and seen them almost every time I've been to my sons flat so nice they include me my sons have lovely partners and families makes me very happy. I'm off to yoga shortly. Nice for you being busy with charity shop.
