A very early good morning as I probably wont be @ my best after being led astray by the pingers later. What a lovely thing you did for that frightened bird. If there was already feathers about I guess it had a bit of a battle. What I keep for such occasions is a kids fishing/ butterfly net. I have even used it to catch frogs as I don't like touching them. One thing that used to upset me when I was little was we lived in a big Victorian house with large chimney pots & sometimes a bird would get trapped in the chimney. Then over a period of time it's cries got weaker & weaker. It used to make me cry.. I'm an old softy.. I've had a lovely afternoon with Neil Diamond..I've tried to be quiet, don't want to disturb the cats..lol...Have a fun day...
