Hello Dianne, I'm pleased it didn't rain on your Monday club & you got a good turnout. You may have to take extra table with you if your gang gets any bigger. Word soon gets around where there is a happy place to go on a Monday. Any progress in helping the owner with sprucing up the place? I've got a few bits for the charity this morning plus a bag full of electrical stuff to dump in the library electrical waste bin. Did I mention I had a long chat with a lady @ the Christmas fair who had an art display. Turned out she has a small art shop here in town. Her water colours were wonderful. She also does portraits I guess you can take a picture to her & she will copy it. I may pop into her shop & get a price. We only have one family portrait & that's of Sandra's mum. Summing up I must say how hard Sausage works on the cake game. Takes ages to lay out all her cakes @ a fair & just as long to pack away. That cake make isn't a business it's a passion. Your never going to get rich. Never here Sausage moan about it. Bless...Enjoy the rest of the day. I'll say goodnight as your be in bed when I'm back from town..

Sent you a copy of a letter from a Elf to Ed & Sylvie. I put Bells the Elf which is wrong on close inspection. One of them had eaten the others Advent display. That's all I know. I'm trying to get Elf educated...Goodnight...

Morning Dianne, got most of my admin work done.Just one card to sort as I understand the chap has moved so wait until he gets in touch. Did phone an old comrade this afternoon. It was good because we could exchange things that we didn't know but puzzled us. He also being a buddy of Terry Stamp told me he died from dementia & been in a care home for some time. No wonder I hadn't heard from him. Some time back he had to turn down parts in stage productions because he kept forgetting his lines. On the other hand I had information of an old friend of his he had lost touch with way back. Good old Google told me the chap had died in 1999 whilst playing in a ping match from a heart attack. It was lovely chatting with him. Unbeknown to me he has a sister who lives a few minutes from me & he will be there for Christmas. So we are hoping to get together then. Now on to 'Elf's behaving badly'. Do they have that in your country. It's apparently a sort of game played in December with the children. First I'd ever heard of it this evening when Tracey was on about it. She tried to explain it to me but I didn't quite get it. Hi Dianne, hot & humid in Brisbane. lol. Think I mentioned before that outside Christmas lights there seem a bit pointless as it doesn't get dark until late. Here its dark by 4pm.There are more & more peeps having lights on the outside. To think I was the only one in the area who did that many many years ago. The bulbs were a bit like house hold ones with rubber sleeve where the bulb entered the socket. I've made a start on my admin work...See your off to bed now so goodnight.

Morning Dianne, pleased to say that Sandra got into the Christmas spirit & decorated Odeon one including the tree. Looks good. We have so many decorations collected over the years we never use but put them back into a box for next year, crazy. Started the day in Brisbane now I'm back to Melbourne with golf. I finished The Book today Did skip a couple of chapters which was like a memory/quiz test. Sort of thing I think you would love. It's a very interesting book with a few eye openers. I looked into our library page & they don't stock the book. So I could have a rare copy. lol. Did I ask you about whether they teach the alphabet in schools in your land. Apparently they don't here although I will make certain. I also came across a word I'd not heard before, Mnemonics. . Not seen Tracey for a few days but it seems she has been helping Sausage with a Christmas fair & will be doing the same tomorrow.. Enjoy your day which must be well under way..
