Morning Diane, yet another hot day here. It's got to the stage that it is uncomfortably boring. Never ever thought I'd that. lol. Sandra's birthday didn't go well. Firstly she wasn't aware it was her birthday. She was very unhappy. I thought Sausage would make her a cake but that didn't happen. To me singing Happy Birthday is important . So I felt guilty. Tracey came in the evening. She bought Sandra a life like puppy dog which breathed. Battery operated of course.Sandra thought it was real, so that was another hurdle for me.Then she told Sandra about the scan.So now I have to live with Sandra being anxious about that. Any appointments she has I never tell her until the event. It saves her worrying.. I' know Tracey means well but she is causing me a lot of strife. I did manage to get to town for a flying visit to pick up a few bits.Funny thing is that now I have these two walking frames she has taken to the walking sticks which is fine by me. Hope you are doing ok. Have a happy day. Will anyone organise a tea break during the summer period? Would be nice.

Hello Diane, I had my art group today and that was enjoyable. I agree with you re just trying to support Ed. My Dad had dementia and I understand that every case is different. Dad, bless him, in his last few months was determined to help me purchase a boat. I just went along with the idea. Dad was Navy and that was important to him. Dementia is a cruel illness. On the upside, I am exploring painting with acrylics. A new art form for me. I am happy with the background I painted today on a small canvas. Now to hopefully paint my favourite bird, the Magpie. yes young chap is stubborn does not take his insulin then gets sick then tells doctor to call me because he missed me haha but at least he can still go back to the hostel for now
