a sunny evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! a mallard spotted; thanks! it's 27C here; I could feel it warming up as I drove back south. I had a lovely visit with my sister. we sat on her deck, and watched all the birds visiting the feeders. also was able to catch sight of a red squirrel, but the black squirrels were hiding. (my sister told me that the red squirrels beat up the black  and grey ones. feisty little critters!) Dresden is curled up next to me, and sends purring snuggles to you, and to Pippin. Sunday evening sprinkles after another busy day...bread baking, birthday cake for my pal, dinner of course...had to watch some of the Tour de France...now football on TV from New York...one eye on screen as I clear up the kitchen 😆 I love to be busy but have to say, I am now rather tired...

Yes we had overnight  rain but it had stopped when igot up and it’s just been a dull windy day but not cold sun did try to come out around tea time . I did my washing and washed my hair , made a few Christmas cards just to find envelopes to fit now . Found a new book I must have read in the 70 s it is very good I remember I was working in Manchester then and used to read on the train . In bed now night godbless xx
