Hi Marguerite, how lovely that your daughter popped it over the weekend.  Family visits are always enjoyable.  You are right to keep warm and not venture out whilst you are still unwell.  Do continue to take good care of yourself.  Our Mulled wine & mince pie event went off very well and a goodly sum raised for the charity.  One of the visitors brought a new puppy along (3 months old) fabulous little thing but Bonnie made it clear she was NOT happy! 😂 Nothing really bad happened - she just snarled when the puppy got near her.  I was concerned that she had missed doggy pals since Betsy passed but seemingly not. She is happy to be an 'only' dog.    Currently snoozing on the rug behind my chair - it is raining outside and has been all day.  Thank you for the cuddles sent to her and we send big ones back for Pippin.  Love, hugs & blessings for you all ☂️🌈🤗🤗🐾🐾💕💕

I hope your cough is easing, and you are feeling a bit better. Did you get much rain yesterday? We had quite a lot here, but I did manage to get Maggie out for a walk in between downpours. Tomorrow isn't looking too good! I'm glad that you have done your tree and it's looking festive. I'm sure it can't have been easy to do, you're doing so well my dear, you really are. I shall do our tree at some point this week, I have dragged it out from the understairs cupboard, so that's a start! Hope your day is going well. Good morning Marguerite. It poured down and al the runners were soaked . We raised over eleven thousand. Great day . But I am exhausted today . Going to collect a cheque tonight and tomorrow night and that is it until next year. I did the accounts and we have raised 80 thousand so far this year. Joan just away , she had been at the doctor's . Hope your cough is away. Take care x
