Morning Marguerite, reached 29 when I was going to the hairdressers after lunch far too hot for me I’m afraid I did nothing when I got  back all my energy drained . It was loveky to see everyone at the hairdressers they were all pleased to see me and made me very welcome . I watched the tennis when I got back the alveraz game was good . I put ice packs on my knees to keep them cool too . Started a new book too , supposed to get hotter today and the sun is streaming through the curtains already , watch is all change when the kids break up from school . Woukd have been my wedding anniversary yesterday so I celebrated with a nice cool glass of wine last night . Hard sleeping wasn’t it but I surprised myself just lay on top of the bed and before I knew it was morning so that was a surprise . Take care Marguerite keep cool enjoy your weekend xx

a rainy evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! 33C is just *too* hot! I hope it cools down for you soon. I managed to get to the bakery, and the grocery store today, and *then* to get home before the rain started again. it's been raining steadily for most of the evening.  on a positive note the rain has cooled the temp down to 20C. the kitty boys send sleepy snuggles to you, and to Pippin.
