Just popped back on to check, swept stairs down with  brush then hoovered all the way through downstairs (will do upstairs another day, cream crackered) Done Harry's work gear and got that dry so just having a cuppa before I crack on prepping veg etc for tea  ..Bet you'll be glad to see the back of the birds and nests lol xx

Morning, could you switch to healthier options without telling him so he thinks he's still getting the 'treats' but they're low fat, reduced sugar etc? As for oily fish, I eat mackerel (tinned as have a variety of sauces) or fillets as I like the chilli topped ones, also salmon is a good option ..If I eat it regular though I do go off it for a while so get that it could be stuck in cupboard!! Mixed nuts are  healthy too and we always have them in too snack on so maybe another option, if he likes nuts that is lol ..as you say, he's nearly 79 so just wants to eat/drink what he likes!! I'm with you on the drink lol .. If I feel the need to drink every day, need to cut down on how much and instead of drinking up until bedtime have a cup of the herbal sleep tea which I used to do and did last night, just need to get into the habit of doing it daily xx

You weren't gone that long :) What are his eating habits that he SHOULD be changing? I know where I go wrong but at the age I'm at I think sod it, especially when it come to drinking but IF it came to it that I needed to quit I would!! Did stop for 3 years at one point, don't know why I started again to be honest lol x

Now I've got the eggs complete I'm just gonna leave them until food runs out .. only have 17 of todays left, used loads of gold yesterday egg hunting!! Just popped on to check while having a cuppa .. Been for another walk, went to pick Steve's 'scipt up and got a chippy for lunch!! Power walked back, well as fast as I could go lol as it's 15 mins from my house and idn't want food to get cold  .. defeating the object me thinks LOL .. Have done just under 3 miles though and already done 7,248 steps :) xx
