a sunny afternoon splash and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! how lovely to have lunches with family and friends! and, hooray for long friendships of many years! it's cooled down quite a bit here; we're in the low 20'sC, and I have windows open. our sunsets happen about 8:30 p.m. I think we're not quite as far north as you are. I picked Ellie up from her summer program today, and took her to a Mama's office, then ran a couple errands. I was going to go to the botanical gardens, but I ran out of energy. now I'm sitting next to Dresden, and simply enjoying the late afternoon sunshine.
