It has been hideously hot here for weeks. Rylee still insists that he wants to go outside to chase and play. I brave the heat and take him out. I set up my umbrella and chair and prepare to play. I throw it once - he brings it back - I throw again. He gets it again - one more throw and I can see he's had enough. He stands in the shade of the gazebo and looks at where I have thrown the toy. I wait patently to see what he's going to do. I ask him if he's had enough - he waits another minute or two then he will trot out to get the toy. He just needed to cool down - throw it again mom. I do but this time he picks it up and he takes the toy to the door - Done! We go back into the A/C until the next time. Happy Thursday.
