The church is relatively modern (1902) and has a modern heating system, just as well!  I once went to a funeral in a cold church and the vicar was wearing fingerless gloves and leg warmers to keep warm!  She was obviously used to this being regular.  Had a lovely warm meet for my Crafty Cuppa session - I knitted a few leaves for a knitted floral wreath I'm doing x
