Halloween. Kids love it, parents become kids again and then there's Rylee and Jojo. I didn't dress them up for the kids this year but they did greet them at the door. For the most part a good time was had by all. Rylee was not sure what was going on and why all these kids were coming to the door and why was I giving them candy. Jojo sat near hubby rather than by the door as she is still a bit shy with all this.  You could see Rylee telling her to go along as it would be over soon. It was and then life resumed for all. Happy Monday.

Happy Monday! Work was as to be expected for the time being. It was a very pretty day out at least! Although I have to complain since the clocks have gone back and of course the sun was going down as I left work. Ug I wish we could stay sprung forward. Have some chicken grilling now and then making some fries. Have a great evening!

Over the hill I skip and prance;
I’m Lady’s Slipper, and so I dance,
Not like a lady, grand and proud,
But to the grasshoppers’ chirping loud.
My pods are shaped like a dicky’s toes:
That is what Bird’s-Foot Trefoil shows;
This is my name which grown-ups use,
But children may call me what they choose.
