Well we are riding high on Rylee's win of his second Best in Show yesterday! He goes back today to try one more time. Jojo has been really quiet - her only barking episode was when our son came home with our grandson. She's rather moping around here looking for Rylee - surprising as Rylee ate her breakfast yesterday before I took him to Chuck. Maybe Rylee thinks that's why he's with Chuck? Could be he'll be better behaved once he's home? I can dream - Happy Friday!

Rylee has gone off with Chuck to the Aurora Kennel Club Show today - he won't be home until Friday night. I had to meet him up the highway with Rylee - at the crack of dawn. When I came home there was Jojo waiting at the door wagging her tail - she was happy enough to see me - but "where's the brother?" She looked past me to the empty garage and out to the truck - no Rylee! I had to go back out to the truck to find my phone (I'm not the brightest early mornings) I came back in and again there's Jojo - looking past me for Rylee. This will be interesting to see if she's quieter or noisier without Rylee. Happy Thursday.

Routines have resumed around here with Rylee and Jojo. The notifications from my phone (the tiniest of tinkle sound) makes Jojo jump up and race barking to the front door. Usually the notification are random things like - I got mail or someone on Messenger has played a game and it's now waiting for me it's not the sound for the door. Jojo leaps to her feet and races barking to the front door - Rylee stops and returns to me puts his head in my lap waiting for his reward for not barking. His soulful brown eyes gazing up at me - please - he seems to implore I didn't bark - I'm a good boy! Soon as Jojo realizes we aren't meeting her at the door she comes back - just a but sheepishly - oops my mistake she seems to say. Happy Wednesday.

When I arrived home from shopping getaway first thing I heard in the driveway was Rylee and Jojo's joyful greeting. I hurried into the house (3 hour drive) and there was Rylee soooo happy to to see me. He jumped and leaped into my face and arms as I sat. The joy makes me very happy. I started to bring in bags and there was Rylee waiting to examine every bag - "What did you bring me Mom?" They found the stuffed cow and proceeded to start yanking on it before I had even pulled the tags from it. Rylee was my Velcro boy for the rest of the night. Jojo was even snugglier that ever. Of course as soon as I walked into the kitchen there was Rylee - bark bark barking at the door for me to go play catch with him. Hubby said he took Rylee out three to four times each day and he would throw it once and Rylee would look and leave it in the yard - he had no interest in playing with him or the ball. Happy Tuesday.

Jojo has discovered that "something" is living under my deck. She sniffs along the widest crack between the boards just outside the sliding door wagging her tail - then she runs around to the side of the porch to sniff between the slats in the lattice. She runs back and forth as long as I let her. Hubby has gotten out his telescoping thing to look under the the boards to see if he can figure out what it living under there. It's probably mice but hopefully we will know later today. Meanwhile Jojo has a hobby - Happy Monday.
