Hi, Eloise!  Seems as though you're trying to keep the heat out.  When this house was built, it had a special roof that "supposedly" reflects the heat.  We have the air conditioner set at 79/80, use ceiling fans or we have two larger fans we can move about.  Somehow we manage, mostly due to low humidity ... yesterday 11%.  Take care over there!  xxx

Hi Eloise, we had a lovely holiday thankyou. Dubrovnik was very pretty, very clean & very green. It was a bit too hot for me though with no breeze for respite. The Garth Brooks concert in Hyde Park was excellent although I could have done with a seat - it's tiring standing in one place all the time & it was hot in London too. There was 69000 people there but no pushing, shoving or fighting which was good. The prices were extortionate though - £27 for 4 small tins of cider. Back to reality now. Today is sunny, breezy & 17 degrees - much more my cup of tea :-)

Ylvali watered the Rainbow Chameleana Flower, and spotted a Birthday Field Mouse feeding on the 15th Birthday Cake!
