Hi hon - well I can believe it - they are not all like that - but there are lots of stories that I think are true.   I did have a few that would look in my window, almost like they were looking for me and saying "hey - please refill my feeder."  lol  Last year I stood outside very still holding the feeder and did get one or two to feed from it.  It takes time and patience so I will try to do more of those types of things.   I've been putting out a lot of little posts on Hummingbirds this week - I just can't help myself.   It's hard to put their size in perspective - but the nests are the size of a WALNUT and made partly from spider webs so that they stretch, and their eggs are the size of a jellybean!  And they are very tiny so you just wonder HOW do they fly across the ocean alone!

Berry has gone rogue and bypassed the Fairyland Elite! After utilising her extensive (??) investigatory skills, she advised all interested parties (she's scoped out several investors after speaking with the Trolls) that as there is no requirement for a Fairyland regulatory body when it comes to the manufacturing of Mallets, the creative process was to begin with immediate effect. The Council of Barn and Long-Eared Owls agreed that as long as the Mallets are safety and quality compliant they would endorse the idea. After several days of labour intense production, mallets are now available to hire or buy from Berry at the garden gate. They've been designed for a range of budgets and needs from a simple splat n squish to full-blown obliteration. ENJOY!!
