It is indeed......a pain that you wish would go away, but even worse for your child because you cannot take the pain away....the hurt will linger forever. (They were high school sweethearts, they went to the same college, both got their master's degrees from the same university and worked on the same military base together....that's a love that will be forever and not many people get to experience it.)
